Automatic Information We Collect:

Once de-identified or aggregated, the data is no longer attributed to a single unique individual. De-identified or aggregated information is non-personal information that we may treat like other non-personal information.


Abiomed values the information it has about its customers and is not in the business of selling it to others. We do occasionally need to share your information for the purpose of conducting our business with you or to comply with legal obligations.  For example, under certain circumstances, Abiomed may need to disclose collected personal information in order to:

This information is collected from your computer’s web browser. Under some circumstances, we also collect information about your use of our Websites by using what are known as browser cookies. The Websites use Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google,”, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses “cookies,” which are text files placed on your computer to help the Websites analyze how users interact with the sites. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the Websites will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Google normally anonymizes IP addresses, and only rarely transfers the whole IP address from outside the US to a Google server in the US.  In those cases, the IP addresses are shortened upon arrival on Google’s servers. Google uses this information on behalf of Abiomed for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Websites, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing them other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Abiomed does not sell personal information of California consumers. This does not include disclosures that are not a “sale” under the CCPA, including when:

Abiomed does not sell personal information of California consumers, including minors.


Abiomed will not discriminate against a Requestor for exercising any rights under the CCPA. Unless permitted by the CCPA, Abiomed will not:

Abiomed can only respond to your request if it is verifiable. Subscribe to e-mail notifications via Impella Connect:

Impella Connect allows you to subscribe to various notifications (events, alarms and case following) via e-mail. The notifications will be sent to the e-mail address provided by you when registering. When you register for the first time, you will be asked if and which e-mail notifications you would like to receive. You can change the entered settings at any time in your personal account or via the link contained in each notification e-mail.
